No, I did not pay her to wear that T-Shirt!

 

Tonight Abby and I walked out front and I asked her to put up the bicycle that she hasn’t been riding since we took the training wheels off.  She just did not show a interest in it at all anymore.

Well, when she rolled it over to the fence, she sat on it, looked at me and said “Daddy, I want to ride my bike!”.  I sent her inside to put her tennis shoes on.  She came running back out jumped on the bike and asked me to help her get started.  Next thing I know she tells me to let go “Daddy, let go I don’t need you anymore!”.

I did let go….

This came totally out of nowhere.  She just jumped on and of she went.

I have realized that we have been seriously slacking in posting pictures etc. on here so I am going to make an attempt to do better.

Through some searching on the Internet and investigating we have found a new member for our family.  Cody’s Mom Weilie von Kirschental is from the same pedigree as Kadie was and  we got lucky enough to find him semi-local (Houston).  Since he is just a wee one right now he should arrive at our house at then end of August!

Little intro for all of you that don’t have young’ns…

The Disney Channel currently has a TV show called “Hannah Montana” which is the No. 2 hit show of girls age 6-11 and 11-14 years of age (The No.1 being “American Idol”).  

Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) is a preteen who just moved from Tennessee to Malibu, and now has to adapt to the new lifestyle. She also lives a secret life as a pop star, overseen by her manager, Robbie Stewart (Billy Ray Cyrus).

Several weeks ago Abby discovered the show and we are now religiously recording each episode for her.  She just loves everything about it and sings along to all the songs.  It really is a hoot to watch her.

Today for Valentines Day we got her the new Hannah Montana CD and she was excited beyond belief. Tonight she listened to it for the first time and danced to the music.  After a while she decided to spruce up the playroom by creating the Hannah Montana FAN club.  It’s for true FANS of Hannah Montana…
